Aggettivi (gruppo 2)
Gli aggettivi sono le parole che usiamo per descrivere le qualità di una cosa, un essere vivente o un concetto. Questi sono alcuni esempi di aggettivi: grande, divertente.
Gli aggettivi devono sempre corrispondere al genere (maschile o femminile) e al numero (singolare o plurale) dei sostantivi ai quali si riferiscono.
Tutti gli aggettivi italiani sono divisi in tre gruppi:
gruppo 1;
gruppo 2;
aggettivi irregolari.
In questa pagina studiamo gli aggettivi che appartengono al gruppo 2.
Gli aggettivi che appartengono al gruppo 2 hanno una particolarità: terminano tutti con la vocale “e” al singolare e con la vocale “i” al plurale.
Questo significa che abbiamo solo due opzioni a disposizione, che usiamo per distinguere il singolare dal plurale, quindi non abbiamo opzioni per distinguere il maschile dal femminile.
Per questo motivo tutti gli aggettivi che appartengono al gruppo 2 sono sia maschili sia femminili.

Adjectives (group 2)
Adjectives are the words we use to describe qualities of a thing, a living being or a concept. These are some examples of adjectives: grande (big, great), divertente (fun).
Adjectives must always match gender (masculine or feminine) and number (singular or plural) of the nouns they refer to.
All Italian adjectives are divided into three groups:
group 1;
group 2;
irregular adjectives.
On this page we study nouns belonging to group 2.
Adjectives belonging to group 2 have a particularity: they all end with the vowel “e” in the singular and with the vowel “i” in the plural.
This means that we have only two options available, which we use to distinguish singular from plural, so we have no options to distinguish masculine from feminine.
For this reason all adjectives belonging to group 2 are both masculine and feminine.
